Vitality is a word which has been used to describe the energy of life. The vitality of each of us is derived from a variety of energy sources and thrives on such things as peace, joy, love, and gratitude.
There are four areas where you have vitality: physical, spiritual, mental and emotional.
Physical Vitality
Physical vitality is having energy to do things. You have strength and stamina. This is not only important in athletic activities, but it is also valuable in work and day-to-day tasks. It is being able to do things with vigor.
Spiritual Vitality
Spiritual vitality is your level of connectedness to the spirit that dwells within in addition to your connection to others. When you have vitality in this area, you recognize and live from your authentic truth. Spiritual energy comes from a belief system and related practices built upon faith. You have discovered inner peace and an inner sense of security that is not dependent on events or circumstances that would otherwise affect you.
Mental vitality
Mental vitality is having a mental energy to think clearly. It means that you are in good mental shape with sufficient mental powers and thinking stamina to handle problems. It is a state of mental alertness and effectiveness.
Emotional vitality
Emotional vitality is having an up-beat attitude, such that you are happy, at peace, enthusiastic and joyful. You are then able to deal with various problems and stress.
Think about what you are doing to support the renewal of your vitality and mind health through daily practices. Each day I encourage you to take a few minutes out of your day to recharge your energy sources in a way that has the potential to serve you for a lifetime.
