Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.

Who You Are Is Enough to Change the World

September 12, 2015 - Uncategorized - , , ,

You are born with the ability to make an indelible mark on this world. It may not have dawned on you, but you are a woman who can have far-reaching influence and leave a great legacy to future generations as long as you:

  • Take ownership of your life.

You are responsible for what you do as well as what you decide not to do. This may be scary; but you can learn to use your talents without fear of the changes that will occur in your life, as well as the life of others. What is even more disturbing is your reluctance to play your part in making the world go round.

  • Stop playing small.

You may be afraid of using the power that you have. The idea of being powerful enough to change the world as you know it may be pushing you past your comfort zone. Yet, your potential will remain indefinitely dormant unless you take appropriate transformative action. So get the ball rolling.

  • Stop relying on other people’s belittling comments.

Others may want to manipulate you for their own reasons. They may look down on you and say you are ‘’nothing special’’. Such remarks may be challenging for you; but if you have discovered your inner calling, you won’t pay attention to these unjustifiable comments for long; and over time, your ability to discern someone speaking malevolently improves. You get better at seeing the intention of others and assessing if their actions aim to diminish your worth so that they feel more important, in control, or simply haven’t learned a better way.

  • You go the extra mile to help others live better.

As a woman, you are an empathetic, receptive, and often a highly intuitive being. Your small daily acts of kindness can cumulatively have a big impact. Especially with the advent of the new millennium, the power of compassionate women to change the world has multiplied. Now, it easier than ever to reach out to someone who needs you.

  • Stand up for what you believe in.

Don’t be afraid to speak up and share your opinions with others; your contributions are vital; if you are bothered by someone mistreating another person, don’t just let it pass. You have the power to create a fairer and more humane world when you freely express yourself.

In the end, your life is what you make of it. If you use your time, opportunities, and talents wisely, you are bound to wondrously touch the lives of many others, even if you never meet them in person; because your words and actions cause other people to react to them uniquely, and they subsequently influence their interactions with others, so that a ripple effect is produced.
